Do You Think the Bloggernacle Should Become an Extension of Sunday School?
I certainly hope not! They have very different purposes.
In many ways I like the Bloggernacle the way it is, kind’a like the old west. There are lots of unique personalities and ideas manifest here. I like being part of it. Each of us are becoming what are use of agency is making us, and the Lord has prepared various degrees of glory to accommodate our choices. The Lord wouldn't have it any other way (Abraham 3:5).
The following scripture makes this point:
Ye who are quickened by a portion of the celestial glory shall then receive of the same, even a fulness.
And they who are quickened by a portion of the terrestrial glory shall then receive of the same, even a fulness.
And also they who are quickened by a portion of the telestial glory shall then receive of the same, even a fulness. D&C 88:29-31
I hope all of us will move in the direction of being quickened by a portion of the celestial glory and eventually receive a fulness. However, I realize that not everyone is willing too.
What are your thoughts?

I personally kind of wish the Bloggernacle could be like Sunday School on steroids. There’s only so much time at church and only so many people who want to comment and only so much material that can be covered, when there is so much good stuff to talk about! Why does that conversation have to stop at the end of the block? It doesn’t.

I agree with you. I find many blogs that do just as you say–Sunday School on steroids.
How about sharing some of the sites you enjoy. I love to find some I’m not aware of.

It looks like you went from “unique personalities and ideas” immediately to “various degrees of glory” as though they were inherently connected. That is a little confusing (and could be putting-off for some) because one could interpret what you say to mean that your perspective, personality, or whatever makes you unique determines which glory you will receive in the afterlife.
It seems to suggest that those who do not align with your views are not willing to be “quickened by a portion of the celestial glory”.
Does your view of the Gospel allow uniqueness of perspective/personality/ideas among those who will inherit the Celestial Kingdom?
Certainly there are some forms of personalities and ideas that are downright evil or, for lack of a better term, kingdom-demoting, but you should probably be more specific with what kind of “uniqueness” you’re talking about when you equate it with The Lesser Kingdoms.

You’ve asked several questions and made several statements. First of all, I’d like to thank you for coming by and commenting.
I’ll do my best to answer your questions.
My approach to blogging is focused on the importance of acquiring the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I use the scriptures and the words of the living prophets to accomplish this purpose.
You correctly read the explicit and implicit message I meant to convey in this post. I sought to do it gently, with the intent of reminding the reader, that it will take our best efforts to obtain the celestial glory. And of course this includes me.
This blog is dedicated to the idea of talking of Christ, rejoicing in Christ, and preaching of Christ so that we can be made alive in Christ. That message can’t be effectively presented without discussing the doctrine of Christ and related doctrines as I presented in this post.
Each minute, hour, and day we make choices. The sum of our choices will be what determines which kingdom of glory we will be prepared for.
My experience with the things of the Spirit has made me aware of my nothingness, and the Lord’s willingness to leave the 99 and rescue those who are lost, as he did me (see Jared’s testimony for details).
I personally worry about the parable of the 10 virgins. The arithmetic of the parable is chilling–50% of the active members (virgins) are not prepared. The difference between those who are prepared, and those not prepared, is the gift of the Holy Ghost.
