*Example of Faith: Marion G. Romney–Prayer Answered

Elder Romney’s wife Ida is in the hospital not expected to live.  He didn’t want to ask in prayer for something that was contrary to the Lord’s will. He was careful not to counsel the Lord, but fasted to know the Lord’s will before he would give her a priesthood blessing.

    When asked about having your calling and election made sure, Pres. Romney said that you should wait upon the Lord until the Holy Ghost confirms or seals one up and specifically referenced Helaman 10 as a scriptural example of this process.
