I took a class in Judaism last year and I learned something quite useful.  Father Abraham had doubt practically ALL THE TIME.   From the Jewish prospective of Abraham it is quite okay to have doubt, what is not okay is to sit on the fence about it.
When I learned this I was shocked and I got up to give a testimony about it at sacrament meeting and afterward the Bishop told me that it wasn&#039;t appropriate.  Are you kidding me? In my mind yes, it is, its makes perfect sense because developing a testimony requires the action of searching, not necessarily a divine belief or knowledge for searching for whatever truth one may have]]></description>
