Friday Quiz: It Is By Grace That We Are Saved, After All We Can Do

“...for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.” 2 Nephi 25:23 Does this scripture mean that after we’ve done all we can do, then grace will kick in?



We have all heard the adage: God helps those who help themselves. Does this mean we should expect God's help only after we have done everything possible ourselves?



There is a man in a hot desert who sees a fountain at the top of the hill. With great effort, he climbs the hill and receives the life-giving water. What save him? Was it the climb (his works) or the water (grace)?
