Examples of Faith: When God Intervenes Miracles Occur
Members of the Church frequently relate accounts of their experiences with miracles. Miracles happen all the time. We are God's children and He is watching over us and when He intervenes miracles occur.
Following are three such experiences. I've taken part of the account to get you started. Click the link at the end to complete the story. Once at the link you may need to scroll down to find the title. Enjoy.
Example of Faith: Mission President Withers in Pain and is Healed
I read, Yearning for the Living God, by F. Enzio Busche a few years ago. He is a convert to the church from Germany and was called to be a General Authority and served as a Seventy in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also served as president of Germany Munich Mission and president of the Frankfurt Germany Temple. The following account is taken from his book on pages 202-05.
The reason I selected it is because of a recent event in my life where I had a similar experience with a health problem that has dogged me for years. I know the Lord can be near and intervene to help us in time of need when we suffer physical, mental, and emotional pain.

Dealing with Crisis the Lord’s Way
Because we are the children of God we can know Him, and be Known of Him. The scriptures teach many things about Heavenly Father, and if we diligently seek Him He will be revealed. Many Latter-day Saints have experienced this revealing and therefore have a testimony.
In the last few years, as I've visited numerous LDS blogs, I have read many accounts of church members who experience a crisis of one kind or another. Their testimonies are often challenged as they struggle with a situation they feel is inexplicable. They are brought to a point where they begin to feel that God doesn't really exist, or needs to be redefined, because of the nature of their difficulty. All kinds of difficulties befall us while in mortality. When our faith was strong we thought we were on the high road to the Celestial Kingdom, but when in the midst of a crisis, our faith is seemingly uprooted as we're tossed about in the circumstances that engulf us.
One of the Best Kept Secrets of the Church
Mike: Why are the scripture so important? After all, the Bible is scripture and look at all the different Christian churches that have sprung into existence since it was published. Obviously scripture is subject to interpretation, and if this is the case, what real good can they be?
Jack: That's precisely why the Lord called on the prophet Joseph Smith. His calling as a prophet and the calling of other prophets since then--provides us with leaders whose responsibility it is to interpret scripture. Without apostles and prophets scriptures wouldn't be enough.
